Through the Lens
Let me tell you right off the bat, folks, this is my favorite section here at TWL; I think it really gets the creative juices flowing. Because I love it so much, I've made it the star writing category, I'll admit. Only Wordsmiths can submit Through the Lens articles, and each of them has an assigned week of the month in which to submit their article. The question I have been asked more than any other as of late (by the Wordsmiths) relates to this section, too: "What are Through the Lens articles supposed to be about?" Isn't that silly?! They understand the five new sections at TWL, but they can't understand the second writing section of the RotT! Well, I gave them an explanation, and I'll attempt to give you one, too.
Through the Lens articles. Hmm...Well, according to the Realm of the Triforce, they are "in-depth articles about the more obscure, and well, absurd aspects of the Legend of Zelda series." Apparently, however, no one can figure obscure and/or absurd aspects of the series. Well now I shall rectify that definition, just for you:
"TtL writings are in-depth articles about the more obscure, and well, absurd aspects of the Legend of Zelda, involving not onky the games, but everything that surrounds them: the systems they are played on, the fans and community which adore them, the sites that glorigy them, and more. Because, really, there is no fixed definition as to what is absurd and what isn't! I can't dictate everything for you! Use your imagination, be creative! Unleash the raving madness of the fandom from within, and don't be burdened by what you think will read well, or what people will like. Discover the Legend as you never have before! We are The Written Legend...and that's because Words Travel Fast!"
And if that doesn't answer your question, then you obviously didn't read it through, now did you? ^___^!
