Zelda Equations
First off, let it be known that this is my favorite feature, and it's probably the most unique one, too. For each batch of ZE, I will give out two (or maybe more) people, places, things, or ideas from the Legend of Zelda series. You will then take one of the terms and make an equation using it, followed by an equation using the other. Sound confusing? Here's an example:
Terms: Master Sword, Triforce
First Equation: Child Link + Master Sword = Adult Link
Second Equation: Power + Wisdom + Courage = Triforce
Now that's not so bad, is it? Also, you're encouraged to add, subtract, multiply, divide, square, etc. the terms (or any other part of the equation):
Child Link + Master Sword - Master Sword = Adult Link - Master Sword
Child Link = Adult Link - Master Sword
Verstehst du? Gut! I'll swear upon a pre-ordered copy of TP, if you do that with the right terms, you can learn completely amazing things about the series. If you only knew the ways in which these helped so many of my theories and articles!
Now here comes the tricky part. You must combine the two (or more) terms into one equation (even if it has numerous equal signs, although that technically makes it more than one equation). This can lead to some wacky stuff! Example:
Child Link + Master Sword = Adult Link - Courage + (Zelda - Wisdom) + (Ganondorf - Power) = Courage + Wisdom + Power = Combined Triforce
And that's that! When you're sitting in that boring history class with the professor/teacher droning on about nothing, what are you going to do? Make up Zelda Equations, of course!
