Link Exchanges
What is a Link Exchange?
To put it simply, it's when site #1 links to site #2, and site #2 links back to site #1. Not a very difficult concept.
Requirements
- Your site must be related to Zelda, gaming, and/or web development.
- Nothing illegal is on your site, i.e. illegal ROMs, pornography, etc.
- No plagiarism, discrimination, or evil acts committed by the webmaster/mistress! Which means that I have the final say on these link exchanges, obviously.
- You must link to The Written Legend in a visible, locatable place, with one of the methods found on the "Link to Us" page.
If you would like to exchange links with TWL,
with your site's name, url, link to button (if applicable), and a short description of your site (optional). Also, please have the link to TWL on your site before you e-mail me!
Zelda Sites

What We Say:
Let me tell ya' right now, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. This absolutely ingenious idea is...well, beyond words, really, but, coming from the mind of The Missing Link (of TGA), and in collaboration with several other prominent members of the Zelda community, it's no shock that the whole concept is amazing. Really, people, mark October 1, 2005 on your calendars as the day that the Zelda community finally began to re-establish itself as one of the best out there. Visit Zelda Blog, please, for the good of all of us!

What They Say:
"[T]he Desert Colossus...dedicated to exploring and charting the ever-expanding world of Hyrule and the Legend of Zelda, while providing a fun and enjoyable environment to interact with fellow Zelda fans in."
What We Say:
I have been visiting TDC several times each week, for months now, and have
still not seen all of their content. <(o.O)> Yeah, they have a lot of it, and all, yes,
all of it is good. The Caption Game and Ask Ezlo are unrivaled, really, and one of their several new features, The Stump, is incredibly unique, in that it provides a home for all those beleaguered fan musicians. This site is a
must-see!
What They Say:
"A fan site dedicated to the Legend of Zelda series...features Zelda Information, Satire, Humor, Media, Fan Works and Much More"
What We Say:
Exploding Deku Nut is a site that, while it has plenty of filler, exists to make you laugh. And it does a darn good job, let me tell you. The satires are amusing, the webcomic's down-right hilarious, and there's an abundance of fan-submitted content.
What They Say:
"Art galleries, Zelda encyclopedia, fan work, music downloads, and game information."
What We Say:
The Grand Adventures is one of those coveted, and not-so-secret, treasures that we all share. They've been around for years, yet still have time to provide wonderful new content, not this wishy-washy game content of which I've seen way too much, lately. My absolute favorite thing on the site? The "endorsed" fanfic,
Eloze. >.> <.< With the newly re-instated Say What? and David Linkerman in a tie for second, of course!
What They Say:
"A Network to honour great Zelda websites all across the web. Here you will find a large list of some of the most original Zelda websites with great unique themes, concepts and content. These are the fansites that are based in honouring The Legend of Zelda, and not how many visitors they get per day."
What We Say:
To use correct terminology, HR is a listing of sites, not a network, as the listed sites only link to HR. The network contains some good sites, to be honest. It's a fairly new site (I've actually been around longer than it! .__.;;), its layout is somewhat to difficult to navigate (and changes frequently), and I don't know how much you should expect from its content, considering that its main goal is to list other sites?) Still, visit it!
What They Say:
"Your ultimate source for everything Zelda along with anime and game reviews! Welcome to Midnight Castle!!"
What We Say:
Originally, I must say, the only things I liked about MCLoZ were its
amazing webmistress, Maxine MagicFox, and its wonderful layout (its looks, not its coding, which is frightening). Honestly, though,
what was I thinking?! MCLoZ is definitely in the top five of best Zelda sites on the net. I can't even begin to describe everything it has, but it's so much more than game content! Visit MCLoZ!
Now!
What They Say:
"We...strive to provide the most comprehensive source of Zelda information on the net, with detailed content and up-to-date news coverage. [W]e [also] allow all other Zelda related sites to have their news posted on our page as often as they wish - our goal is to become a central hub of all the Zelda info available on the net."
What We Say:
Meh...There's not much to say about ZTHL. It recently merged with Clock Town Central; a move that I really didn't like. It has a fair amount of content, but nothing too special, and it doesn't really pursue the goal that was mentioned above. Perhaps you might like it, though, so give it a shot.
Nice, Simple Link Exchanges
What They Say:
"Rauru's Return is the Zelda website for you. We currently boast brilliant content: Timelines, a Zelda website building guide, image galleries, forums, soundtracks, and many other important aspects of Zelda life."
What We Say:
RR is, indeed, an amazing site. Being the lover of writings that I am, I particularly enjoy Intas's articles. Also, many, if not all, of their interactive features, especially the montly newsletter/paper/thing, Harkinian, are simply superb.
